No complaints, this was a fairly nice stay for 2 nights. The place was clean, I booked the triple room with views of the ocean, everything was excellent. The location was favourable to a high standard providing a lovely meeting area. What's more, it was close to the sea front as well as Spain in the campo.

Clean. Good breakfast. Exellent location. Staff friendly
High price carpark. Despite a group of us staying there and also using the meeting room and dinnig facilities, there was apparently a refusal to give group rates. We all need to help each other in this financial crisis and it did not give a good impression

Loved our stay in this place. It was impeccably clean, staff was efficient and top-class. The king room was stylish and airy with showers and a good view. The tapas restaurant offered appetising dishes, and the breakfast was satisfactory.

We've just returned from a long weekend, and loved our break! Rooms were clean and tidy, we had a sea view room with balcony - I think all the rooms have a balcony. Nice modern exterior and lobby area. Perfect location, just across the road from the beach. My husband and I are in our 30's, not really into the loud rowdy scene and found that the Confortel was at the end of the busy strip of the Fuengirola coast, therefore we got a good nights sleep and could even leave our patio door open on a night for fresh air without loads of noise - we were about a 15 minute stroll form the busy part of Fuengirola. For how little it cost I thought the breakfast buffet was great, good assortment of foods - ranging from fruit, yoghurt pots, fresh baked bread for the healthy, to full fry ups - (personally it was way to hot for a fry up!)... What was absolutely brilliant about the hotel was the following. Our flight wasn't till the evening, so for €20 we could have a late check out. In fact the ball was completely in our court - they asked us when we wanted to leave, they said we could stay till 9pm if we wanted! If that was any other hotel we'd probably have been charged for an extra nights stay. The hotel's main clientele seemed to be Spaniards - which was great. Very civil atmosphere, but then the busy season is yet to start we were told. Taxi's were also readily available directly outside the hotel. However, the reception staff were more than helpful on one occasion when we needed a taxi booking for an out of town trip.
I wouldn't call the hotel 4 star, more of a 3. In uk terms I would liken it to a travel lodge. Towels looked kind of grey and tired, however smelt clean - one too many washes I suppose! The hotel cafeteria (ground floor level) could do with being cleaner. looked like over the course of the day they didn't have anybody tidying up, so you can imagine cigarette ends etc accumulating around the table lets. Tables kind of sticky. Lobby toilets didn't seem to be cleaned at regular intervals, but were conveniently located in the lobby area, so you didn't have to go up to your room from the beach. The only draw back was the number of street hustlers selling giftware - every 5 minutes we'd be accosted, even if lying on the beach sunbathing - no where was safe. Not even the restaurants; they actually came inside the restaurants to sell, and no-one even batted an eye lid, I would have liked the establishment workers to tell them to take a hike so people could be left in peace! Also, beware - double beds are twins pushed together. I lay in the middle on our first night and could feel the beds moving apart. If the hotel insist of making doubles out of twins then they should have a way of making the beds stay together - i.e. leg clasps?? I did ring the reception desks and was told there is only one standard of room with the same facilities. You also have to pay for the use of the safe.

Beachfront location, private balconies with views, easy access to public transportation
Room cleaning could use consistency!!! Facilities like the pool could benefit from improved maintenance and better design in the bathrooms. Overcrowded dining areas can hinder the overall experience!!!

We had a terrible flight before arriving at the hotel at 5 am...the hotel staff couldnt do enough to help us...the room was fantastic, a junior suite, clean sheets and superb comfort was what we needed and what we got.
Literally the only problem was a generator which turns on at 5.30am....not a problem and easily resolved when we revisit by remembering our ear plugs next time...

Just a good pick for a quick weekend visit in Fuengirola with excellent value for money. The breakfast room had a great buffet with plenty of options. For a good meal, check out the restaurant just across the road backing onto the beach.

This hotel is in a good position in Los Boliches and is pleasantly decorated. Staff are efficient and polite. Breakfasts are adequate and of reasonable standard. Lacks the facilities of a four star hotel, probably nearer say three and a half but overall good standard and a good deal from Booked.net.
